I would like to tell you a story. -  How i started up my kennel, and started to breed those lovley little dogs, - Shih-Tzu.

At 1970 i bought my first Shih-Tzu, just a pet. We went to some shows,wich we never heard a word about before.

Soon we gain our C.C s and CACIBS and the title SUCH & INT.CH, and it was so everything started !

Maybe would we breed a litter? - But, sorry - with quite bad result.

Later we bought an another little bitch, but she hadn´t any success in the showring.But she gave birth to some quite good - looking pup´s with nice temperament.

I must confess - my knowledge of breeding was quite bad at that time, and those who bought my pup´s has not any interest of shows, so it wasn´t so good results at that time.

This little bitch is behind quite many good dogs from my kennel anyway.

After eight years and a burning interest of learning more about breeding, i talked with an old well known breeder who told me that " a kennels strange is good brood bitches".

At 1978 i mate a Scandinavian bitch with CH KURT´S BOY OF LANSU " TOMSY "

The result of this mating was 4 dogs and 1 bitch. I hade early decided to keep the little bitch in this litter.

To day when i look behind, i can say i choose the right puppy.

This lovley girl was SPOVENS GAINA-ZI. She had everything !

She was a briilliant show dog, and an exellent brood bitch.

GAINA-ZI is the " mother " of almost all dogs from kennel SPOVENS .

At 1980 i bought a Shih-Tzu male from KENNEL BOREAS in Norway.

He hade an English background and in his pedigree you can find Ch Kurt´s Boy of Lansu, Ch Whitethroat Mr Wu and Ch Whitethroat Jarvis.

The name of this little boy was BOREAS LITTLE HORNBLOWER, and i called him " ONNI "

I also bought a little bitch from KENNEL BOREAS. A halfsister to    " TOMSY " wich was mated to " ONNI ". The result of this mating was BOREAS CHINESE Q-PID.  She gain one CC and many Certify qualitys. This girl was mated to CH. GREENMOSS TITFER TAT.    " TIFF ", and in that litter i kept a wonderful little bitch: CH SPOVENS LITTLE DECI-BELL. " SMULAN "

" TOMSY ", " ONNI ", " JARVIS " and " TIFF " mixed with GAINA-ZI is KENNEL SPOVENS.

My aim has from the beginning of breeding, been to breed dogs who are sound, beautiful, healty with an exellent character. Who can bring joy and happiness to their owners.
